There's Always a First Time. FREE COMIC.
Its FREE COMIC BOOK DAY and i thought it would be nice to finally put online after 6 years one of my first ever comics for people to read :)

I still havent got used to the fact that they have announced this issue and i’m still drawing the layouts on it! It really puts the pressure on to work faster :P

Solomon Kane
After a full week of colouring Amala's Blade i decided to take a small break and draw a brooding Solomon Kane.
I also found an old copy of some short Solomon Kane stories. I bought it thinking it was a Deathdealer book but got hooked later with the SK stories :)

AMALA'S BLADE third cover!
Dark Horse has released some early looks at the comics out in June. Amala's Blade issue 3 is one of them and it was an easy cover to draw!
When Steve sent me the synopsis for that issue (which i am colouring at the moment) the cover just popped and i shouted "That cover is gonna have a Giant Bad-ass Modifier Wurm!"
And it did :)
I had a lot of fun with the design of this Modifier monstrosity and i can say that there are quite a few pages with this beautiful beast. Amala is in over her head!

Along with the release of the zero issue we gave two Glow-in-the-Dark posters of Amala in our random give away at our Facebook page. The winners were Owen Watts and Eleni Mosh! Keep Amala's ghostly friends by your bed as a night light :) I was really happy with how that turned out and we plan to do more give-aways before issue 1 is out.
Also did you also know that my mate Josh Tierney's SPERA vol.2 was released on the same day, that also involves high fantasy and young ladies with swords! you should read it! its packed to the brim with talent. I have a short story in this volume and a bigger one in the upcoming volume 3!

SPERA vol.3 tease!
With the release of SPERA vol.2 yesterday i thought it would be a nice tease to give you a look at my part of SPERA vol.3 that is currently in the works! Super-psyched to be working on the projects with all the super talent crammed in that world!
